For the Love of Sports 5 Mile and Fun Run

For the Love of Sports 5-Mile StartGood Sports would like to thank all of the runners, sponsors (NESN, Liberty Bay, Olivio, Hood, Small Army) and volunteers that helped make the first annual For the Love of Sports 5-Mile and Fun Run a big success. NESN’s own Tom Caron led the 300+ runners onto the course while his colleague Kathryn Tappen, in-studio host for Boston Bruins games, presented the awards at the conclusion of the race. Runners were treated to a bevy of treats once they finished including Kayem hot dogs, Hood milk, and Pop Chips, just a small token of our appreciation for helping us get every child in the game. Keep an eye out for the second annual For the Love of Sports 5-Mile and Fun Run next year as Good Sports looks to build on this great start and create a bigger and better race in 2011!
