Celebrity Home Run Derby!
On July 26, 2009 at LeLacheur Park, home of the Lowell Spinners, Good Sports will host a Celebrity Home Run Derby. Representatives from Boston sports organizations and media outlets will team up to compete in an eight-team softball home run derby. The event will also feature Celebrity pitchers, catchers, reporters and emcees. Contests & raffles will take place throughout the day giving fans the chance to win amazing prizes, including signed memorabilia from the celebrity participants, and even the opportunity to take the field and hit a home run of their own! Following the event, an exclusive VIP reception will be held where fans, sponsors and auction winners will have the opportunity to meet all the stars.

6th Annual Legends of the Ball!





The Good Sports 6th Annual Legends of the Ball will be held on Thursday September 10th 2009 at The Roxy in Boston’s Theatre District. The event will bring together the corporate and sports world in a fun, celebratory setting to show support for youth sports. Over 600 attendees are expected for the event, and several bands, athletes and celebrities will be participating in the festivities. Be part of one of the best celebrations of the year! First Annual Chicago Legends of the Ball
On May 14th, Good Sports hosted their first annual Chicago Legends of the Ball at Rockit Bar and Grill in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. The event brought together professionals from the youth sports industry and youth sports supporters across Chicago to help increase the awareness of the lack of physical activity among youth today.

Adalius Thomas plays quarterback
New England Patriot Adalius Thomas recently threw a few passes in Wellesley, MA to support Good Sports. Thomas generously donated his time for this great event through the Good Sports auction at the 5th Annual Boston Legends of the Ball last year raising valuable resources for the organization.

Eric Alexander Drops In to Help with Donation
New England Patriot linebacker and Good Sports supporter generously donated his time to help hand out an equipment grant to the young players with the Cambridge Pop Warner team.

Good Sports and Philadelphia Eagles Join Again to Support Philly Youth Football
Good Sports continued its partnership with the Philadelphia Eagles by donating $10,000 worth of equipment to the Children Advancing Toward Success (CATS) football program on September 2nd.

Kevin Youkilis Continues to Show His Support…
Long time supporter and Major League All Star Kevin Youkilis took out time this summer to play a Backyard Football game with a local family in Milton.

Dave McCarty Runs Youth Clinic to Benefit Good Sports
Dave McCarty, current NESN analyst and former Red Sox player spent some time teach some local kids to basic skills of the game from pitching and hitting to base running.

Red Sox pitcher and Good Sports supporter generously donated his time to be part of an event that raised thousands of dollars for Good Sports.

5th Annual Legends of the Ball A Huge Success!
The 2008 Legends of the Ball truly demonstrates how far we have come in just a few short years. Approximately 600 people joined us on June 9th for this year's event and your generosity yielded over $150,000 to support sports and fitness programs for disadvantaged youth.
