Fast Fact

A month prior to starting a soccer scholarship at Western Illinois University I tore my ACL.  Not wanting to jeopardize my scholarship I made it through the entire grueling pre-season training and exhibition games with a torn ACL. Finally deciding to red-shirt and have an operation to replace my ACL a few days before the first game.

  • Career Highlights

    Toby joined Good Sports in September, 2016 as the Chicago Market Director.  Prior to working with Good Sports, Toby oversaw a national program to lower childhood obesity. An initiative supported by the Clinton Foundation and the American Heart Association.  Toby has over 18 years of not-for-profit leadership experience working with school districts and inner city programs to raise the awareness for the need of accessibility.  Toby, a native of Cambridge, England moved to the US on a soccer scholarship where he attended Western Illinois University.  Toby resides in Chicago with his wife Julie and two children Ariana and Hartley.
