Recently, Good Sports hosted a panel event that was focused on discussing equity in sports and what we can continue to do to help make sports more accessible for girls. This panel was hosted by Google at their New York City offices. We were incredibly grateful to be joined by our moderator for the evening, Kathryn Tappen of NBC sports as well as some incredible panelists that included: WNBA player, Stef Dolson; tennis player, Christina McHale; WNSL player, Mandy Freeman; Lacrosse player, Kylie Ohlmiller; Good Sports co-founder and CEO, Melissa Harper, and Director of Growth & Innovation at the WNBA, Lauren Dwyer. The panel was able to have a constructive conversation about their own experiences as females in sport, some of the issues they still face and what they think could be done to keep making progress to bring more equity to sport. Good Sports raised $40,000 to help get more kids in the game.
