As of February 1, 2022, Good Sports is accepting crypto-donations!
We partnered with The Giving Block, a platform that aims to help nonprofits accept payments through cryptocurrencies. Through our cryptocurrency fundraising collaboration with The Giving Block, we can accept over 40 different forms of cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Good Sports is excited to navigate the rise of cryptocurrency giving and are thrilled to offer our supporters another way to give. Our supporters play a big role in the work that we do and help create lasting impacts on youth athletes in need across the country.
Per The Giving Block, a key benefit for donors donating in crypto, is that they may save in taxes when giving digital currencies to nonprofit charities, rather than simply donating cash. We encourage donors to talk to a crypto-savvy tax professional or connect with The Giving Block to learn more about how donating crypto can lower your taxes.
