Nike has created a digital resource to support coaches.  Check out their Made to Play site for coaching guides, sports bra playbook, and so many more resources and conversation starters.

Youth Mental Health Support:

Does your organization, coach, or young person need support dealing with abuse?  The Courage First Athlete Helpline, Childhelp’s newly-launched free national call/text/chat line that provides emotional support, mental health crisis intervention, and informational resources for athletes, former athletes, parents, coaches, survivors, and anyone else in any sports community in need of assistance is live.  Click here for more information.

School Soccer Curriculum:

The US Soccer Foundation’s K-8 soccer curriculum and training package provides turnkey lesson plans to the physical educator so that students can learn soccer skills while being engaged in moderate to vigorous physical activity. The curriculum is based on the Teaching Games for Understanding curriculum model and allows students to practice the fundamental skills in small groups. The games in the lessons never exceed more than 6 per team. This allows lots of touches and skill progression is more rapid than in full-sided games.
