Rancho High School has been trying to build its sporting programs back up for decades. With the opening of two other nearby schools, many families have sent their children out of Rancho High. Remaining students don’t have access to athletics due to the school dealing with budget cuts, as well as others having to forgo any sporting experiences to help out at home by getting after-school jobs. With a new football coach and a $100,000 grant for new equipment, a positive change is in store for this school.
