2026 Boston Marathon Application

Good Sports is thrilled to put a team of 10 together for the 2026 Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America! This will be a highly competitive process and we are recruiting runners who are confident they can raise $15,000 ($12,000 minimum). The team will be filled on a rolling basis, so we recommend applying ASAP.

Team benefits include:

  • Personal training program from Under Armour’s professional running team.
  • Under Armouir x Good Sports shirt, hoodie, racing singlet, and shoes.
  • Personal fundraising page on GivenGain and strategic support.
  • Invite to 2026 Boston Legends Gala in April or another event.
  • Opportunity to tour and volunteer at Good Sports’ Field House in Braintree, MA to sort equipment to be delivered to kids in need.
  • 2026 Impact Report detailing the marathon team’s impact on Good Sports.

  • In order to receive a guaranteed entry for the Boston Marathon®, each runner will commit to setting a goal of $15,000 raised for Good Sports ($12,000 required minimum and a $6,000 raised milestone by 12/31). If a runner raises $14,900, they will not be responsible for the $100 gap to goal, but if they raise $11,900 they will be responsible for balance owed.
  • Please note all runners will have a $12,000 minimum. i.e. If a runner falls short of the minimum by raising $11,900, they will be responsible for the remaining $100. If a runner falls short of their goal by raising $14,900, they will not be responsible for the remaining $100.
