Good Sports’ Board of Directors, Advisory Boards, and Young Professional Boards serve as strategic thought partners to our team. All board member positions are voluntary in nature.

The Good Sports Young Professionals Board, with locations in Boston, Chicago, and New York, is a volunteer-based group of professionals in their 20s and 30s who work closely with Good Sports. Members are tasked with responsibilities such as organizing fundraising events. supporting Good Sports initiatives and promoting the nonprofit.

Members are expected to support Good Sports through the following ways:

  • Events and Fundraise: Support the execution of various fundraising events in your market each year.
  • Awareness: Communicate and promote Good Sports’ mission and programs to your networks.
  • Community Involvement: Recommend community youth programs to Good Sports that fit Good Sports’ criteria.

Members will attend monthly meetings throughout the year and are expected to attend each fundraising event. For more information and to submit your application please go here.

The Good Sports Advisory Board, with locations in Chicago and New York City, is a volunteer-based group of senior professionals who are passionate about Good Sports’ mission. Each Advisory Board member is asked to advise and assist with the leadership, fundraising and general promotion of Good Sports to support the organization’s mission and needs.

The term is three years and may be renewed for one additional three-year term based on mutual agreement.

The Good Sports Board of Directors have legal and fiscal responsibility for Good Sports and play a key role in marketing, outreach, strategic planning, fundraising and overall organizational governance. Each member is asked to advise, govern, oversee policy and direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of Good Sports to support the organization’s mission and needs.
