Since 2017, Good Sports and Cubs Charities have been teaming up through the Diamond Project to help bring sports opportunities to kids that need it most across Chicago. Through donations of brand new softball and baseball equipment and apparel, Good Sports and Cubs Charities provide the necessary equipment to get more kids in the game. This year, support will specifically be focused on adaptive sports organizations that provide softball/baseball programming or have the desire to start softball/baseball programming.

About the Diamond Project
The goal of the Cubs Charities Diamond Project is to expand opportunities for children to play baseball/softball, create or preserve green space in under-served neighborhoods and to foster a love of the game. Through the Diamond Project, Cubs Charities provides funds and equipment to non-profit, neighborhood-based organizations to support baseball/softball leagues and capital improvement projects that improve the quality, safety and accessibility of local baseball fields or indoor training facilities.
