About Good Sports

Good Sports gives all kids the lifelong benefits of sport and physical activity by providing equipment, apparel and footwear to those most in need. Since 2003, Good Sports has provided more than $72 million worth of equipment to more than 5,600 youth programs, supporting over 8.5 MILLION kids. Good Sports has also been awarded a coveted 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest charity evaluator, for sound fiscal management, transparency and accountability and is a Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance accredited charity.

  • Bridgeport DocumentaryOur mission as an organization comes to life through the words of the athletes, their coaches, teachers and mentors in this short documentary highlighting the impact of a recent donation to Harding High School in Bridgeport, CT.
  • Magnolia Foundation – A good video to show how partnerships between foundations and Good Sports can make a large impact. Magnolia Foundation is the charitable arm from Chip and Joanna Gaines.
  • Boston Impact – A look at the work done in our home city of Boston since 2003.

A site visit is when Good Sports staff members meet with directors and kids of a program that has recently received a donation.
