Nike RBI

Good Sports and MLB  have teamed up once again to help bring baseball and softball equipment to Nike RBI Programs that need it most across the country. Through these donations, Good Sports and MLB will provide Nike RBI Programs with opportunities to get more kids in the game and help maintain program stability. To this end, Good Sports will donate brand-new baseball and/or softball equipment to selected Nike RBI Programs in 2024. Each donation will be specifically tailored to fit the needs of the organization. 

To apply for a grant, please click here. Make sure to select “Nike RBI” as the partnership you are applying to be considered for. The deadline to apply for 2024 consideration is Friday, February 23rd, 2024. 

About MLB’s Nike Reviving Baseball In Inner Cities: Nike RBI 

Nike RBI is MLB’s youth outreach program that provides administrative, programmatic, and infrastructural resources and support for organizations that provide baseball and/or softball programming with a focus on underserved kids and communities across the globe.  

Nike RBI has hundreds of organizations that annually affiliate with the program ranging from MLB Clubs, MiLB Clubs, Park & Recreation Departments, Boys & Girls Clubs, School Districts, and other independent non-profit organizations.  

Nike RBI is designed to: 

  • Increase participation and interest in baseball and softball for underrepresented communities  
  • Provide programming opportunities for all skill levels 
  • Increase number of talented athletes prepared to play in college and professionally 
  • Encourage academic achievement and the pursuit of continued education 
  • Teach the value of teamwork and other life skills through bat and ball sport 
  • Develop the next generation of Major League Citizens
